A call has been made for the overhaul of the entire security agencies in Rivers State as a crucial step checking the tide of violent crimes and insecurity in the state.The Paramount Ruler of Akpor Kingdom in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area, Eze ANELE ORLU ORIEBE made the call in an interview with our correspondent.The Nyenwe-Ali Akpor said most of the security chiefs in Rivers State, including the Commissioner of Police and Assistant Commissioners of Police in charge of Area Commands need to be redeployed.The Paramount Ruler of Akpor Kingdom also has a word of advice for other traditional rulers, particularly in areas that are experiencing security crisis.Eze ANELE ORLU ORIEBE said it was necessary for the traditional institution in every community to give all of their subjects a sense of belonging in the affairs of the land.He also stressed the need to ensure thoroughness in the selection of individuals to serve in the palace or other establishments at the community level, in order not to alienate any of the parties.
