A business tycoon SEBASTIEN AJAVON has joined the presidential race in Benin Republic.
AJAVON announced that he will contest next month’s presidential election, in a move that will pit two of the country’s most famous entrepreneurs against each other.PATRICE TALON who is a cotton magnate is also in the race for the presidency, and is considered the main opponent of the governing party’s candidate, LIONEL ZINSOU, who is the current prime minister.The incumbent President of Benin Republic BONI YAYI is stepping down at the end of his two terms.
