Chairman of the committee, Professor OZO-MEKURI NDIMELE said, out of a total of two thousand, five hundred and eleven schools which applied for the accreditation, one thousand four hundred and fifteen schools were fully accredited.
NDIMELE who spoke while handing over the report disclosed that while six hundred and fifty-nine schools were granted interim accreditation, four hundred and thirty-seven schools were denied operational approval.
The committee Chairman maintained that the report is in line with the desire of Rivers State Government to establish a formidable educational sector at the public and private institutions.
Secretary to the State Government Government, TAMMY DANAGOGO who received the report on behalf of the Governor said, he is concerned and committed to ensuring that private schools meet up the approved standard with right facilities.
