In more reactions to the judgment of the Rivers State Governorship Election Tribunal; the Labour Party’s candidate in the last election, Prince TONYE PRINCEWILL says there is no need for the matter to go on appeal.
Prince TONYE PRINCEWILL said the judgment was no surprise to many Rivers people who came out on the day of the election to try and cast their vote.
In a statement; PRINCEWILL said if the APC legal team could not prove that there was no election in Rivers state, nobody could.
TONYE PRINCEWILL said he will inform his supporters in the days ahead about the role he intends to play with the turn of events.
You will recall that PRINCEWILL had declined to join his Labour Party to challenge the outcome of the governorship election in Rivers State.
The state leadership of the party managed to file a petition before the Governorship Election Tribunal, but that petition was thrown out at the preliminary stage because of the absence of the main beneficiary.
