Senator Abe also filed a suit against two prominent members of his party, the All Progressives Congress in Rivers state; Chief CHUKWUEMEKA EZE and Sir LUCKY WORLU.
All the respondents are sued for libel and defamation.
The Senator who disclosed this at a media briefing in Port Harcourt accused the respondents of being sponsored to deliberately malign his personality over the crisis in the APC in the state.
ABE while recalling how he was ordered by the Minister to shun his ambition in 2015 for DAKUKU PETERSIDE said himself and his supporters decided to oppose the state caretaker committee of the party because they were not consulted before it was set up which he said was contrary to the decision of the supreme court.
Senator MAGNUS ABE also backed the move by Governor NYESOM WIKE to acquire about forty five per cent share from the Shell Petroleum Development Company shares on the OML 11 for the state government.
