The Chairman of the association in Rivers State EDYSON CHUKWUDIBIA UMEH has commended the Nigerian Senate for its intervention, after it adopted a motion calling for a halt in the implementation of the policy.
UMEH said the decision to stop land border importation of vehicle was selfish and not in the interest of the common man.
Speaking in an interview with Correspondent LEVI ISU, UMEH called on the Federal Government to reduce the tariff on second hand vehicles.
The Rivers based car Dealer also appealed to the federal Government to open more sea ports in order to decongest that of Lagos and enhance business in Nigeria.
