Reports say Hurricane Matthew was forecasted to hit the western tip of Haiti on Tuesday morning, bringing winds, rains and storm surges.
The US National Hurricane Center said the life-threatening conditions of the Category Four storm were already bearing down.
However; Interim Haitian President JOCELERME PRIVERT said a number of people who were out at sea had been killed.
