Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare continued his impressive scoring run as Ajax secured a convincing 4-0 away victory over Telstar in the Dutch Eredivisie.
Arokodare scored Ajax’s third goal in the 60th minute, marking his first league goal since joining the Dutch giants on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The goal means the Nigerian has now scored in three consecutive matches and has four goals across all competitions since his arrival at Ajax.
Ajax opened the scoring in the 37th minute before Steven Berghuis doubled the advantage in the 56th minute.
Arokodare then added the third goal four minutes after the hour mark, while Marcos Leonardo completed the scoring in the 78th minute.
The victory strengthens Ajax’s early-season campaign, while Arokodare’s continued goalscoring form will further boost his chances of earning more opportunities at club and international level.
