Nigerian midfielder Aderemi Adeoye is set to join English Championship side Middlesbrough from Nigeria Premier Football League club Ikorodu City.
The highly-rated midfielder is expected to complete the transfer after impressing with his performances for Ikorodu City, where he emerged as one of the standout players in the Nigerian top flight.
The move is seen as another major step in Adeoye’s career and will offer the youngster an opportunity to continue his development in English football as Middlesbrough strengthen their squad ahead of the new Championship season.
