The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted 43,980 pills of tramadol concealed inside modified fuel tanks in a major anti-drug operation.
The agency said the discovery was made during an intelligence-led operation, describing the concealment method as a deliberate attempt by drug traffickers to evade security checks.
NDLEA said investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend all those connected to the shipment, reaffirming its commitment to dismantling drug trafficking networks and curbing the illegal distribution of narcotics across the country.
