Ruling on the alleged murder of militant leader, SOBOMA GEORGE has been fixed for 27th of October this year.
Justice G. C AGUMA of a State High Court in Port Harcourt adjourned the case for ruling on the trail of DUOBRA OGBE, PERE MATHEW and ADUMU GEORGE.
Speaking to newsmen outside the courtroom, the Prosecution counsel IPALIBO BOTOYE said the court was urged to adopt the statements of the accused persons on grounds.
However, the counsel to the first and third accused persons, KEN ATSWETE urged the court not to admit the purported confessional statements because they were not made voluntarily by the accused persons.
You will recall that SOBOMA GEORGE was murdered by unknown gunmen around Old Port Harcourt Township in 2010.
