The Chairman of the State Senior Secondary School Board, DAVID BRIGGS said the action was taken against the principal based on sundry allegations.
Speaking in an interview with our correspondent, DAVID BRIGGS made allegation of sexual abuse of an underage girl against the suspended principal.
He also alleged that he had connived with the zonal account officer to victimize some teachers in the school who dared to confront him over the alleged sexual abuse of an unnamed seventeen-year-old student.The Board Chairman claimed that the suspended principal altered the Bank Verification Numbers of the affected teachers in a bid to prevent them from getting their salaries.The Chairman of the Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools Board, DAVID BRIGGS further disclosed that a workshop was being put together for members of staff from level fourteen to sixteen to reposition them on how to face modern realities.He also called on any student who is being harassed by any staff to report such incident to the Board for immediate intervention.
