It has emerged that Prince MORGAN AMADI is challenging the position held by his uncle Eze EJIKE WALI as the Paramount of Okporo.
However; the Secretary of Okporo Supreme Traditional Rulers, Chiefs and Elders Council, Eze VINCENT NWANWA has stepped in and advised Prince AMADI not to balkanize the throne.Eze NWANWA alleged that Prince AMADI was attempting to illegally seek the endorsement of Okporo people to become the paramount ruler.The council scribe warned that such move was capable of causing disaffection in Okporo community.In his reaction, Prince MORGAN AMADI dismissed the claim that his uncle, Eze EJIKE WALI had been crowned as Paramount Ruler of Okporo town.In a separate interview; Prince AMADI urged the people to ignore the views expressed by the council scribe, Eze VINCENT NWANWA.The Okporo Prince equally challenged Eze EJIKE WALI to make himself available for the selection process of the Eze Oha Okporo instead of parading himself as paramount ruler of the community.Eze EJIKE WALI is yet to personally address the controversy over the challenge to his position as Paramount Ruler of Okporo community.
