The special adviser to the President on Niger delta development commission senator Ita Enang who revealed this during a live television interview on Monday, said the action so far taken by the Rivers state government in eradicating illegal oil bunkering from the area is just the first step.
Ita enang also revealed that the ministries of environment and petroleum are working to ensure that illegal oil refineries become a thing of the past.
On the delay by the Presidency to name and prosecute those involve in the looting of the NDDC as promised by the President, Ita Enang said the president will take action as soon as the white paper of the forensic audit is released.
