The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, MAHMOOD YAKUBU has confirmed the deployment of three national commissioners and eleven Resident Electoral Commissioners to monitor the governorship election in Kogi State.

The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, MAHMOOD YAKUBU has confirmed the deployment of three national commissioners and eleven Resident Electoral Commissioners to monitor the governorship election in Kogi State.YAKUBU told an audience at the Governorship Election Stakeholders’ Forum in Lokoja that the deployment was in line with INEC‘s resolve to ensure a free, fair and credible election in the state. The INEC boss said the three national commissioners would be responsible for monitoring of the election in the Kogi East, Kogi West and Kogi Central senatorial districts.
