This was made known in a statement released by the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit, ABAYOMI SHOGUNLE.
ACP SHOGUNLE also confirmed that the Inspector General of Police, IBRAHIM IDRIS, has ordered a detailed investigation.
According to the statement obtained by our correspondent, ACP SHOGUNLE said the arrest of the police officers was in response to a viral video that was posted online on 17th August.
