This was made known by the Minister of Finance, KEMI ADEOSUN in an address at the public presentation of the 2017 Appropriation Act in Abuja.
The Minister of Budget and National Planning, Senator UDO UDOMA, whose ministry put together the budget presentation, said the security of the nation is top on the priorities of the government spending.
Senator UDOMA said under the 2017 Budget, the Ministries of Interior and Defence will get increase funding at the rates of four hundred and seventy-two billion naira for interior and three hundred and thirty billion naira for defence.
