Latest reports from the United States indicate that prosecutors have convened a grand jury to investigate NOOR SALMAN, the wife of gunman OMAR MATEEN.
The move followed reports quoting NOOR SALMAN confirming to the police that she had tried to talk her husband out of attacking the Pulse gay nightclub.
SALMAN could face charges of accessory to forty-nine counts of murder and fifty-three counts of attempted murder, as well as with failure to warn authorities about the impending attack.
US Senator ANGUS KING, who is a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said it appears the woman had some knowledge of what was going on.
