White House Confirms Trump Diagnosed with Chronic Vein Condition

The White House has confirmed that U.S. President Donald Trump has been diagnosed with a long-term but non-serious vein condition known as chronic venous insufficiency.

The announcement came on Thursday amid public speculation over the 79-year-old leader’s recent physical appearance, particularly a heavily bruised right hand and visibly swollen legs.

According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, President Trump “noted mild swelling in his lower legs” in recent weeks, prompting medical evaluation. The condition, while chronic, is considered benign and manageable.

Leavitt also clarified that the discoloration observed on Trump’s right hand was due to frequent handshaking combined with the use of aspirin as part of a routine cardiovascular prevention regimen.
