Victims of the recent petrol tanker fire around Iyana-Ipaja area of Lagos have been compensated by the state government.

The gesture was confirmed in a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, HABIB ARUNA, which was obtained by our correspondent.
According to the statement; the cheque distribution was done at the State Government Rehabilitation Centre at Igando.
It noted that the Deputy Governor urged the beneficiaries to use the donation by the government to rehabilitate themselves.
