US,Europe calls for Immidiate withdrawal of military forces fighting in Libya’s oil-producing areas .

The call was made after fighters controlled by a general who rejects the UN-backed unity government in Libya seized some key oil ports from a militia loyal to that administration.

Reports say General KHALIFA HAFTAR supports a rival administration based in the eastern city of Tobruk.

But the joint US-European statement condemned the attacks on the ports of Zueitina, Ras Lanuf, Sidra and Brega.
