The Mexican government has condemned the new policy, which include sending undocumented people to Mexico, even if they are not Mexicans.
The Foreign Minister LUIS VIDEGARAY said his country cannot accept unilateral decisions imposed by one government on another.
Meanwhile; US Secretary of State, REX TILLERSON, and the Head of Homeland Security, JOHN KELLY are in Mexico to discuss the measures.
Both men will hold talks with President ENRIQUE PENA NIETO, to try and douse the most serious rifts between the two neighbours in recent years.
