U.S. Limits Nigerian Non-Immigrant Visas to Single Entry, 3-Month Validity

The United States Department of State has announced new restrictions on non-immigrant and non-diplomatic visas for Nigerian citizens, limiting them to single-entry visas valid for just three months.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the U.S. Mission in Nigeria said the move aligns with the reciprocal non-immigrant visa policy introduced during the administration of former President Donald Trump. The policy affects several countries, including Nigeria.

The Mission noted that the adjustment is part of efforts to ensure visa reciprocity and balance in diplomatic engagements between the U.S. and other nations.
