Two people have been kidnapped at Rumukwachi community in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.Our correspondent gathered that LUCKY AMADI and his Yoruba neighbor, who was simply identified as ROTIMI, were abducted from their compound.
Another neighbor, who confirmed the incident to our correspondent, claimed that the suspected kidnappers had pretended to be police officers.
Similarly; there has been a failed attempt to kidnap a man identified as OBODO at Agba-Ndele community in Emohua Local Government Area.
Our correspondent gathered that the attempt to kidnap the man might be connected the sum of fifty thousand naira empowerment benefit he received yesterday.A source within the community said the kidnappers were given a hot chase by the villagers when their noticed their suspicious movement.
