The Rivers State Police Command says the Minister of Transport, CHIBUIKE AMAECHI did not order the arrest of any policeman in the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer, AHMAD MUHAMMAD said a report making the rounds in the social media about the purported arrest and manhandling of a policeman along Port Harcourt-Omagwa Road on Saturday is not true.The spokesman of the Rivers State Police Command urged members of the public to ignore the story in its entirety.
