The remains of one hundred and forty-four victims of the plane crash over Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula have been flown back to Russia.A Russian government transport plane carrying the remains of the victims landed at Saint Petersburg’s Pulkovo airport on Monday morning.
The bodies were returned home as investigation ordered by Russian authorities in Saint Petersburg gets underway.
The Airbus Three-Two-One crash killed all two hundred and twenty-four people onboard, who were mainly Russians.
The Head of Russian Air Transport Agency ALEKSANDR NERADKO has said the airliner disintegrated at high altitude.
Four of the passengers were Ukrainian nationals and one was from Belarus.
