The meeting between the Federal Government and the Organised Labour movement in Nigeria over new petrol template continues for a second day in Abuja.This comes less than twelve hours to the take-off of an indefinite nationwide strike called by labour to protest the removal of fuel subsidy and increase in price of petrol to one hundred and forty-five naira per litre.The Nigeria Labour Congress wants government to revert the pump price of petrol to eighty-six naira, fifty kobo, but the first day of the meeting ended in a deadlock.The meeting was held at the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, with the Minister of Labour and Employment, Doctor CHRIS NGIGE leading the federal government delegation.The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, AYUBA WABBA and his TUC counterpart BOBBOI KAIGAMA also represented the Labour movement.
