The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria has blamed the latest round of scarcity of fuel in Rivers State on vandalism of pipelines.
ABRAHAM GEORGE, who leads a faction of the Port Harcourt Zone of IPMAN, said the pipeline that supplies petroleum products to Port Harcourt was blown up by suspected militants.GEORGE also told correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA that repair work has already commenced on the damaged pipeline, stressing that the shortage of petroleum products will not last much longer.
