The Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Rivers State, Reverend MINAIBIM HARRY has approach the Court of to seek justice over the dismissal of his petition challenging the victory of Governor NYESOM WIKE. You will recall that the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja dismissed the petition filed by the SDP on the ground that it lacked merit. But the SDP and its candidate contend that the tribunal took the decision even before the petition was heard.

Speaking in telephone interview with correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR; the SDP governorship candidate described the decision as hasty and a rape of justice. Reverend MINAIBIM HARRY wants the appeal court to reinstate his petition in the interest of justice. Reverend MINAIBIM HARRY is the governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party in Rivers State.
