The APC candidate for Rivers South East Senatorial District re-run, Senator MAGNUS ABE has called on factional leaders of the Movement for Survival of Ogoni People to allow Ogoni elders to resolve the current crisis rocking the group.Speaking at a forum organized by Kono Youths Vanguard in Khana Local Government Area, Senator ABE said he has been overwhelmed with calls from Ogoni elders on the need to resolve the crisis.According to a statement signed by his spokesman PARRY BENSON, Senator ABE appealed to his Ogoni kinsmen not to allow MOSOP to die.ABE observed that Ogoni land was being neglected by the Rivers State Government in the area of development, just as he urged the youths to remain law-abiding and shun violence, especially during and after the forthcoming State and National Assembly re-run elections.
