The Gokana, Tai, Eleme, and Khana United Landlords Association of Oil Facilities in Ogoniland has suspended its planned protest against the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP). The decision, announced in a statement signed by the association’s President, Ben Harry, cited security concerns following reports that hoodlums intended to hijack the protest and cause unrest. The
