The leadership of the Niger Delta Students Union of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education made the call at the flag-off of a leadership summit for members.
The Chapter President of the union, VINCENT SOLOMON urged the NDDC to make the welfare of the Niger Delta students a top priority on its agenda.
Other Niger Delta student leaders in attendance at the summit said it should be part of the NDDC’s corporate social responsibility to take care of the welfare of students within its area of coverage.
Correspondent FELIX OJOGWU reports that student representatives from nine states in the Niger Delta region attended the summit Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Rivers State.
