South Sudanese troops join regional force in east DR Congo

The group of at least forty-five soldiers is joining a regional military force in the region wracked by twenty three million rebellion.

The seven-nation East African Community military force was created last June due to the withdrawal of twenty three M-fighters from eastern DRC.

Much of the region is plagued by dozens of armed groups, a legacy of regional wars that flared in the 1990s and 2000s.
