South Sudan new VP DENG GAI Urges Predecessor to keep his political ambition in check and help achieve peace in the country.

GAI is a former ally of MACHAR, but broke ranks with him after a new round of violence in the world’s newest state in June.

MACHAR left the capital, Juba, after the latest violence, resulting in President SALVA KIIR sacking him and giving the post of deputy to GAI.
