Soldiers Rescue four Civillians from Kidnappers

The rescue was made by troops of the Joint Military Task Force in the Niger Delta, Operation Delta Safe at Obiozimini community in Onelga.
The Coordinator of the Joint Media Campaign Centre of the JTF, Major IBRAHIM ABDULLAHI disclosed in a statement that the two soldiers were kidnapped on transit by suspected militants on Monday.
Major ABDULLAHI said troops were deployed when the information got to the JTF Headquarters in Yanagoa, Bayelsa State and they immediately swung into action.
The Army spokesman said the rescue squad approached the militants’ camp in a forest at Obiozimini, the hoodlums opened fire, but were soon overpowered by the superior force of the soldiers.
