The convener of the group, Pastor Joshua Fubara gave the hint during a coordinator and leadership meeting of the group in Obio-Akpor Local government Area, where he explained that the declaration of Fubara wanted by the EFCC was actually to get at Wike.
Pastor Joshua Fubara who addressed the group, dismissed allegations that governor Fubara was an ingrate, adding that he would not have accepted all key positions from Wike in his administration.
The convener of Supreme Council for SIM while commending Obio-Akpor people for standing with the governor, encouraged members of the group to reach out for more support for the governor to succeed for the interest of the state.
Pastor Joshua Fubara who spoke on the circumstances surrounding local government elections, said at the right time, the governor with the help of his stakeholders will give direction on the way to go for the political emancipation in the state.
On his part, the Coordinator of Supreme Council for SIM in Obio-Akpor Area, Goodnews Amadi told newsmen that the meeting was aimed at galvanizing support for the governor, accusing members of the All Progressive Congress, APC who had asked the court to stop local government elections of working against the interest of Rivers people.
