At least one person is reported to have been killed when hundreds of people gathered in the town’s main street burning an effigy of President JOSEPH KABILA.
They said the authorities had failed to take action in response to the killing of dozens of civilians on Saturday.
The government blames the rebel Allied Democratic Forces-ADF for the killings.
Meanwhile; the Islamist group, with origins in Uganda, is said to have killed hundreds of people in the Beni area in the past two years.
