Officials said the lifting of the ban on Saudi women from sports stadium in the three major cities of Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam would take effect from next year.
Saudi Arabia’s sports authority said preparations would start in the three stadiums so they can be ready to accommodate families from early 2018.
This comes as part of efforts by Crown Prince MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN to modernise Saudi society and boost the economy
