The Senate President enumerated the plan while presenting his address at the opening of the National conference on the role of the Legislature in the Fight against Corruption.
SARAKI said transparency in government processes and procurement must be ensured to enable the federal government succeed in the anti-graft war.
He also suggested among other things, reduction in bureaucratic bottlenecks, education and technology adaptation, adoption and enforcement of sensible rules and reduction of discretions as other ways to win the fight against corruption.
SARAKI also said the neutral application of sanctions, capacity building and oversight as well as monitoring will also guarantee victory over corruption.
The Chairman of the eight National Assembly also stated that a lot more can be achieved with greater civil engagements.
He noted that unless a wide citizen participation and belief in the fight against corruption is achieved it will continue to be easy to erode the successes that have been recorded.
The conference was jointly organized by National Assembly and the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption in collaboration with the European Union, United Nations Office on Drug and Crime and the African Development Studies Centre in Abuja.
