The protesters who questioned the action of the paramount ruler, noted that the decision is taken at a time the community needs a representation on issues affecting the people.
They however decried the lack of development, noting that funds generated from markets and motor parks in the area have not been used for developmental processes in the community.
Meanwhile, some members of the community have called on the Rivers State government and security agencies to intervene in the issue and save them from what they described as disaster.
Today fm’ Sandra Kenneth reports that markets and motor parks have been shut down in the area as youths are seen along the east west road axis of Rumuosi junction with placards bearing various inscriptions.
