This is because attacks on pedestrians and motorists by hoodlums have become common place in the area, and it appears that criminals are having a field day.
A lady who was recently robbed of her belongings by the hoodlums narrated her ordeal in an interview with our correspondent.
The victim complained that even though she reported to the Rumuokoro Police Division, nothing came out of the police intervention.
Other concerned members of the public have also joined to call on the security agencies and the Rivers State Government to beef up security surveillance around Rumuokoro to stop the hoodlums that have been terrorizing the area.
