Rivers State University Unveils Solar-Powered E-Learning Platform

The Rivers State University has unveiled a new solar-powered e-learning platform aimed at improving teaching and research activities.

The project was funded and donated by postgraduate students of the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management in the Faculty of Administration and Management.

Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Isaac Zeb-Opibi, described the initiative as a strong example of student-driven innovation.

Dean of the Faculty of Administration and Management, Professor John Ohaka, said the project represents a step towards a smarter and more resilient learning system.

Acting Head of the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Dr Mac-Kingsley Ikegwuru, stated that the project promotes environmental sustainability, academic excellence and cost efficiency.
