The State Attorney-General, EMMA AGUMA, gave this indication in response to claims that the state government was on a vendetta mission against OJUKAYE.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria said the state government was not interested in persecuting the accused person.
The Commissioner for Justice said the interest of the state is to ensure that right procedures are followed in his trial.
He also said it was the discretion of the state government to file separate charges for one accused person.
The Attorney-General also cautioned the All Progressives Congress, stressing that the matter was between the state and an individual, and not political parties.
