State Commissioner for Health, Professor PRINCEWILL CHIKE made the disclosure while speaking on a live television programme monitored from Port Harcourt.
Professor CHIKE said apart from few deliverables from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC the Federal government is yet to reach out to Rivers state especially in terms of logistic and welfare support.
While revealing that a discharge protocol has been activated for the index case, the state government has sent more samples to be tested for corona virus that is being properly managed to avoid community transmission of the virus.
