Rivers state commend LNG over road construction

The state Commissioner for Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Charles Amadi, while commissioning the road and others projects, also commended indigenes of Rumuji community for their peaceful disposition before, during and after the construction of the road.

Amadi said implementation of MOU by cooperate organizations and companies to their host communities will reduce a lot of unnecessary agitations and insecurity arising from failure of the organizations and the companies.

Earlier in his address at the event, Chairman of the Rumuji Community Development Foundation Board of Trustee, Chief Samuel Elechi expressed optimism that the road, the scholarships for twenty-nine pupils in the community will bring about development and peace.

Today FM ‘s Uchendu Ejiowhor reports that the representative of the NLNG, Andy Odeh said their GMOU with Rumuji Community has ensured good relationship with them and expressed their commitment in ensuring more development in the area.
