As Rivers State citizens await Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s announcement of new commissioners and advisers, residents of Port Harcourt have called on him to select only trusted individuals.
Some respondents who spoke to our reporter, Ufuoma Kokogho, suggested that the governor could either retain some of his former commissioners or appoint entirely new faces.
Meanwhile, the National President of the South-South Youth Initiative, Imeabe Saviour Oscar, urged Governor Fubara to appoint not just loyal and responsible persons, but individuals who will remain fully answerable to him in the discharge of their duties.
