The Rivers State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with investors to provide affordable housing for residents of the state.
The Acting Managing Director of the Greater Port Harcourt Development Authority (GPHCDA), Bennett Chu, stated this during the launch of the Port Harcourt Airport City project, a partnership between the state government and Masters Services Company Limited.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of Masters Services Company Limited, Ugochukwu Ohabunwa, assured prospective buyers that the new city project will feature modern facilities and infrastructure designed for comfort and convenience.
Also, the Port Harcourt Branch Manager of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, Melody Basil, disclosed that the bank is funding the project and will provide loan facilities to support potential homeowners.
According to reports, the Port Harcourt Airport City project is valued at over ₦150 billion and is expected to boost urban development and housing accessibility in Rivers State.
