The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has criticised the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) over remarks that the list submitted by its chairman, Emeka Beke, would be kept only for record purposes.
APC spokesperson Darlington Nwauju said the comment signals a premeditated plan by the commission, accusing RSIEC of recognising a faction led by Tony Okocha despite acknowledging a court judgment against him.
He questioned the credibility of the RSIEC under Dr. Michael Odey and insisted that the nominations made by Emeka Beke remain valid.
