Rivers Administrator Calls for Unity, Peace and Development

The Administrator of Rivers State, retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, has urged the people of the state to move beyond bitterness, political rivalry, and self-interest in order to build a united path towards peace and sustainable development.

He gave the advice during an Inter-Denominational Church Thanksgiving Service held as part of activities marking the state’s transition to democratic governance.

Vice Admiral Ibas also appealed to the political class to put aside their differences and work collectively in the interest of Rivers people.
