Eze EJIKE WALI made a public declaration that the reason the council of Ikwerre Traditional Rulers could not intervene in the dispute is because of alleged faulty biological linage of Eze GIFT JOHNSON.
His comment was against the backdrop of the withdrawal of the certificate of recognition of Eze GIFT JOHNSON in favour of Eze CHIKE WODO-WORLU by the Rivers State Government.
In the latest development; the Vice Chairman of the Ikwerre Council, Eze ANELE ORLU-ORIEBE of Akpor Kingdom, said there was never a time the council met to discuss the disputed Apara stool.
Eze ORIEBE also said Eze EJIKE WALI was never at any point mandated to speak on behalf of the Council of Government Recognized Ikwerre Traditional Rulers.
The Nyenwe-Ali Akpor further cautioned all members of the council to desist from interfering ?in disputed traditional stools because of the sensitivity nature of such matters.
